PUBLIC ART

Public art is alive and well in Greensboro.  Public art is permanent or temporary art that is the result of collaboration between an artist and the local community.  This “art in public places” helps to give our community its identity and its sense of place.  Public art impacts tourism and economic development and generates conversation.  We are fortunate to have a vibrant arts environment and public art is a vital piece of our landscape.
